Regulations and information on import requirements for Australian Seafood businesses exporting to China are constantly changing, and sometimes difficult to interpret or locate. The Seafood Trade Advisory Group has produced a series of easy to use handbooks providing up to date information about food regulations in relation to Food Safety for Seafood in China.
A summary document explains China's Food Safety Laws (at August 2017) and a series of documents containing food labelling standards and requirements, Quarantine and Inspection Regulations, specific import requirements for 5 major cities and Cross-border E-commerce (CBEC) procedures.
This information is constantly changing so If you have any questions in relation to these documents, exporting seafood to China or issues you would like the STAG to address, please contact us
These Food Standards handbooks are a resource for Australian seafood exporters, funded by the Abalone Council Australia Ltd, Southern Rocklobster Ltd, the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation and the Australian Government Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, through the Package Assisting Small Exporters.
