TPP-11 Update With Submissions Due 20th April 2018

[vc_row][vc_column][mk_fancy_title strip_tags=”true” tag_name=”h3″ size=”32″ force_font_size=”true” size_smallscreen=”30″ size_tablet=”28″ size_phone=”26″ line_height=”150″ font_weight=”bold” margin_bottom=”0″ font_family=”none” responsive_align=”left”]TPP-11 Update With Submissions Due 20th April 2018[/mk_fancy_title][mk_fancy_title strip_tags=”true” tag_name=”span” color=”#02aca9″ font_style=”italic” margin_bottom=”0″ font_family=”none” responsive_align=”left”]The Australian Government tabled the text of the Comprehensive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP-11), the side-letters, and accompanying National Interest Analysis (NIA) in the Australian Parliament on 26 March 2018.[/mk_fancy_title][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1559943720124{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]The TPP-11 and the side-letters will be considered by the Joint Standing Committee on Treaties (JSCOT) through a series of hearings, the first of which will be held on 7 May 2018.

JSCOT has invited interested persons and organisations to make submissions on the TPP-11 by 20 April 2018.

Separately, on 28 March 2018, the TPP-11 was referred to the Senate Foreign Affairs, Defence and Trade References Committee for an inquiry and report by 18 September 2018. Submissions to this inquiry close on 31 May 2018. Further information can be found here.
